Registration for guides training is now open! Sign up here now as limited slots are available!

Anyone can sign up for this training session as long as the following criteria are fulfilled:

  • At least 19 years old
  • Able to get on and off a boat, and walk for 1.5 hours
  • Commit to guide at least four times within a year after attending training

Fret not even if you have no prior background in nature guiding as the training will cover guiding techniques, trail route and content through classroom sessions and practice during field trip. Volunteers are also encouraged to read up additional information in their personal time.

As part of the training package provided free-of-charge by NParks, it is compulsory for all volunteers to attend one classroom training session and one field session.

26 March 2017, Sunday, 9.00am-1.00pm

22 March 2017, Wednesday, 6.30pm-9.00pm
24 March 2017, Friday, 6.30pm-9.00pm

*Kindly note that the maximum capacity of the training is 90 pax and slots are allocated based on first-come first-served basis. Priority will be given to those who are able to attend the field session on 26 March 2017.
